Our Town has two dates per year for curbside scrap metal recycling, which results in (1) lots of scrap metal being put curbside; and (2) a caravan of pickup trucks driving house-to-house to collect scrap metal before our official waste hauler arrives. Assuming that scrap metal eventually gets delivered to metal recycling facilities by those pickup trucks, is that data reported to CTDEEP from the metal recycling facilities, even if it’s not tied back to the specific Town?
