Can you talk about the terms Indian vs Native Americans vs tribes? I understand that ""Indian" is the government name.

Can you talk about the Indigenous view of air, water, and earth?

Are tribal rights limited to Native Americans on reservations?

Can you give examples of how tribes are managing forest and wildlife resources in New England?

Are the mechanisms to engage and empower non-Federally (or state) recognized tribal communities to have more power in local and regional decision making as it relates to the natural environment?

How were CT tribes involved in setting the GC3 recommendations, especially for the working lands reports?

I have recently learned that there is a Commission on Indian Affairs in Massachusetts. What is the role of this commission in our neighboring state, and how is this different in CT?

I know that the Science and Technology working group had members from the Mohegan Tribal Nation attend some of their meetings. But I don't believe there was representation on the Working Lands group

Would you also comment on the threat of Climate Change on historic Native American sites along rivers, coastlines and elsewhere? Thank you.

Do you have examples of cooperative agreements with respect to land stewardship between CT (or other state) tribes and local land trusts?

Are indigenous nations in the US able to use international agreements like the Nagoya Protocol to protect natural resource rights?

How do we embrace Tribal sovereignty in climate justice conversations in regards to clean air & water in CT? Are there examples of this?
