If you have questions, please type them in here.
What percentage did you say of your customers are women?
Do you use a specific software for the mapping of the service? Or was it just Google maps?
How often do you test your compost and what are you looking for in an ideal compost profile?
How do you eliminate or minimize contaminants in the feedstocks that you collect? It seems like you would not have much control over exactly what someone is putting in the collection buckets.
How exactly do you manage particle size? Do you process feedstocks before mixing, or the finishing compost?
Do you accept meat, fish and dairy scraps in your composting program?
Is the concern about GMOs in compost with round-up ready crops and entrained glyphosate in plant residues or some other concern?
Can we get a copy of the spreadsheet for performing calculations of feedstocks to get final CN ratio?
Can you talk about batch sizes, or how to finish compost with new feedstocks being introduced?
Are there tests for PFAS in compost?
For soil tests from the Northwest Connecticut limestone valley, would you recommend using a different lab with different extraction procedures than the Mod Morgan or Mehlich3?
I really appreciate the sampling information. It's something I haven't had the opportunity to learn to much about. Thank you!
I emailed a couple questions to Sherri, will there be time for answers?
how often would you need to replace the carbon mattress?
by carbon mattress do you mean something like wood chips? fresh or aged?
